Hotel Triglav is a hotel with a soul and some amazingly beautiful views. The gorgeous surroundings like Lake Bled, Castle Bled and the Julian Alps are visible from almost every corner of this hotel. The interior design is made up with precious antiques composed from various extensive collections, which make up for a fantastic and special atmosphere. Among others, there is a fully functioning century old piano that the guests are also allowed to play!

The story of this wonderful hotel began in 1906 when it was officially opened. That same year Bled also got a rail connection with Vienna and subsequently Archduke Franz Ferdinand visited in the same year and stayed at Hotel Triglav. Up to this day, the hotel is very proud of this event, even more so due to the fact that the Archduke thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Ever since Hotel Triglav opened its doors, it was very popular with guests who appreciate top-quality service, a friendly atmosphere and a welcoming staff. The sport of rowing has always been popular in Bled and so has Hotel Triglav been popular amongst rowers. Restaurant 1906 is one of the hidden gems of Hotel Triglav. The magnificent restaurant is directly overlooking lake Blade and provides its guests with a fantastic dining ambient. Viktor Gros is the hotel chef who is pursuing the revival of local traditional dishes and adds a modern twist to them. The hotel also has its own private wine cellar and is offering exquisite wine tasting events. Apart from that, guest can also enjoy frequent theme evenings and cooking classes, all with the idea of reviving old cuisine and inspiring its guests with local ways of life.
