Located in a beautiful and quiet setting, surrounded by golf courses and offering excellent spa facilities, Guadalmina is the perfect destination for golf holidays in Costa del Sol and for people looking for a relaxing, pampering break.
All 178 rooms and suites of the 4-star hotel are spacious, air conditioned, and include a terrace with views to the golf course, the sea or the gardens. The comfortable rooms have fully equipped bathrooms, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, minibar and a safe.
Guests have free access to the hotel's outdoor pools, sun terrace and gym, and there is also a kids' club offering a variety of creative activities. Guadalmina's spa is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including Jacuzzi, sauna, gymnasium, dynamic swimming pool, dream showers and Turkish baths. Guests can benefit from a variety of wellness and beauty treatments, such as facials, underwater massage, lymphatic drainage, or spa manicure & pedicure. For dining there are three restaurants in the complex – Taray, Cocoa, and Beach Club Restaurant – all offering delicious cuisine and excellent service.
The Guadalmina resort has two 18-hole par 73 golf courses, North and South, as well as a 9-hole pitch and putt layout. The South course, designed by Javier Arana, is the oldest one and famous for its difficulty. The narrow fairways surrounded by old trees and the sloped, elevated greens require creativity and skill from the players. The North course, although hillier than the South and with more water obstacles, is considerably easier; many players prefer to book a whole day to play both courses together in a long, 36-hole session.
The Guadalmina Golf Club also provides top-notch practice areas and has its own golf school for adults and juniors as well.
Situated at a 10-minute drive from Marbella, less than 4 miles from Puerto Banus and with direct access to Playa de San Pedro, Guadalmina enjoys quite a privileged location. Malaga Airport is only 40 minutes away and the resort is close to many other famous golf courses, including El Paraiso and Atalaya. Tourists interested in shopping and old town exploring will find the nearby San Pedro de Alcantara absolutely enchanting.
